Lookbook 2010-2011

In this post I've gathered a few of my landmark creation during this past year so to celebrate one year of becoming fully addicted to this "job". The word is between quotes because I don't exactly see this as a job, neither a hobby...it is so much more than that, it's my whole life, this is what I do even when I'm not doing anything. As this year has passed, I've realized how many friends I truly have and how much their support for me means. We know that a picture is worth a thousand words so I'm gonna let the photos do the talking:

Gitana de ciudad*

Gypsy skirt with an accessory made of real leather, copper coins and chains, that can be attached around the hips or can be worn as a necklace. (sold)

*This album's title and the pieces that are in it were inspired by Shakira. During her concert in Bucharest.she stood barefoot in the cold rain with her wet hair in front of thousands of people who felt warm at 8degrees Celsius because of her tremendous energy, Shakira sings she's a "city gypsy". Her joy for life and her ability to project that was amazing and it motivated me to try and capture it with some clothes and accessories.:-).

For all you long skirt lovers out there and for those who will become addicted to long skirts as soon as you see these :), I've made a few suggestions:

Long skirt with flowers and golden elements. Elastic waistband. On the right side there's an ornament made of golden lace, dark blue velvet and pieces of the fabric.  (sold)

Very fine cotton skirt, elastic waistband, white lace at the bottom.

Veil dress with a belt that can be tied in many ways, giving you the chance to wear it on different occasions and use different styles.

Style suggestions:
-  oversized necklace (or necklaces), neutral clutch and golden flip-flops
- African earrings, oversized handbag, very high wooden platforms

- colorful turban (you can make one of braided scarves), a handbag with golden metal chain and low sandals.
